We are throwing away electronics and technology at an increasingly alarming rate. Some of that waste gets shipped to third world countries for recycling. Overall however, how much eWaste is recycled? 10%?
This quote from Sir David Attenborough sums it up nicely – live a less wasteful life and the positive effects on yourself, those around you, the planet and your prosperity will come. We’ve expended on this in our Medium article.
In addition to food and clothing we humans also throw away an astonishing amount of eWaste. Would it be equivalent to 650 laptops per second? Or did we make that up?
