Bob… Works closely with Nero Zero. Permanently sarcastic, easily misunderstood, provides no real advice. No-one knows Bobs surname, not even sure what he does in Zero’s Heroes. He thinks he is Nero’s right hand man, Zelda thinks he is one of her confidantes!

Getting the Big Ideas

The ‘next big thing’ is what every business owner wants to come up with. Invention is a tough game; for example, when James Dyson invented his first Dual Cyclone vacuum cleaner he spent 15 years creating 5,126 versions that failed before he made one that worked.

More often than not the most effective new products build on established inventions, improving, augmenting and enhancing – innovation can generate big ideas

However, innovation can be a misused word to explain laziness, like has been the case in Sydeline, the subject our Blue Sky Stinking Podcast.  Throwing established practice out the window just because you don’t like it may not be innovation, but it could create a different type of vacuum.  Abandoning any attention to regulations or standards because they cramp your style is not innovation, that’s lunacy.

Learn at the feet of Zelda Zero and her team – not by following their example, but by observing what it could look like if the worst happens.
